ICBM Ground Subsystem Support Contract (GSSC)

WESTECH is supporting the Minuteman III ICBM with system and sustainment engineering, and relevant operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks as needed to repair and/or maintain ground subsystems components. WESTECH is responsible for providing critical sustainment support for 11 one-of-a-kind ICBM Missile Procedures Trainers (MPTs) and the only Airborne Procedures Trainer (APT) in existence. These trainers are actual life-size, fully functional crew simulators used by ICBM Missile Crews and Airborne Launch Control Center crews for initial and recurring training, and proficiency evaluations. WESTECH also provides logistical and maintenance support for 18 Ground Minuteman Automated Test Systems (GMATS) test stations located at six bases. WESTECH operates the GMATS Depot at Hill AFB, UT storing over 1500 items valued at $18.8M supporting the entire GMATS fleet.
 
 

Airborne Launch Control System (ALCS) under GSSC

WESTECH provides Systems, Radio Frequency, and Design/Test Engineering support for the ALCS System. We develop rational for recommended requirements, support technical discussions and meetings with government stakeholders, produce studies and reports, design and test related hardware and software systems and preform RF trade studies and produce reports.
 

F-117 Mission Planning and Operational Test Support at Holloman AFB, NM

WESTECH supported three squadrons and two detachments by providing all mission planning and operational test and evaluation support for the entire fleet of USAF F-117 stealth aircraft. This support included flight scheduling; mission profile planning; coordination with the FAA, WSMR and other ranges, air refueling assets, Holloman AFB agencies, and other on-site contractors; frequency assignments; retrieving and disseminating meteorological and flight safety data; and providing recommendations for launch decisions.
 

Space Test and Engineering Contract 2004 (STEC 04) at Kirtland AFB, NM

WESTECH supported the U.S. Air Force Space Development and Test Wing, Research, Development Test & Evaluation Space Complex operations through managing mission readiness from satellite inception through end-of-life. Mission readiness included reviewing new mission requirements, systems engineering planning and design methodology, test planning and operations concept development, mission-unique software development, data collection support and management, launch and early orbit operations, and transition to on-orbit operations.
 

Contract Advisory & Assistance Services & Engineering & Technical Assistance (CAASETA) at Peterson AFB, CO

WESTECH supported Headquarters Air Force Space Command on the Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) acquisition and operations transition efforts as well as their cyber mission through training and testing.
 

Systems Engineering and Integration Contract (SEIC) at Eglin AFB, FL and Hill AFB, UT

WESTECH provided testing of portions of the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) Mission Planning Environment (MPE) software. We also supported the Mission Planning Systems Enterprise to improve system sustainment.
